Project NEWLIGHT – Modernization of energy-efficient and eco public lighting in the City of Donja Stubica

In late August, the project of Modernization of energy-efficient and eco public lighting in the City of Donja Stubica has been completed with the installation of efficient LED lighting which will annually save more than 90.000,00 HRK.

The existing 1 200 luminaires were replaced by energy-efficient LED PrecisionLux luminaires.

The project worth is 2.124.159,23 HRK + VAT and this amount will be financed over 10 years and partly from energy savings.

The signing was also attended by Director of the Regional Energy Agency of Northwest Croatia Julije Domac and on this occasion he has pointed out that this is a really great project and that he is extremely proud of the pioneering project Newlight which generate investments of over 17,3 million euros in total of 38 cities and municipalities of which 57 are entered into the project. Julije Domac also noted that this is the first time in Croatia that we have this practice which is recognized by the European Union and which we have given to our colleagues in Ireland and will be presented in Belgrade, Serbia.
