On the project “Works on equipping a part of the Omiš bypass, section DC70 – Cetina bridge – Omiš – east”, extensive electrical installation works and the implementation of advanced systems for safety, monitoring and traffic management were carried out. Cable ducting and the main fiber optic cable of the route and tunnels Brzet, Omiš, Komorjak Račva and Komorjak Sjever, with a total length of 4 km, were installed. A traffic information system with dynamic signaling and a traffic light system were implemented with the implementation of algorithms and scenarios for the section. A video surveillance system with automatic event detection was installed, connected to the central monitoring and control system (CNUP Dugopolje) and a remote control and monitoring system (SDUN) with algorithms for incident situations. SOS systems were implemented in the tunnels Brzet, Omiš, Komorjak Sjever and Komorjak Račva, as well as fire alarm and fire protection systems. A road lighting system with the possibility of control from the CNUP, a sound system for the Omiš tunnel and an upgrade of the software support for the DATEX II interface were installed. In addition, the tunnel power supply and distribution boards were installed, as well as the main fiber optic cable along the entire length of the section, ensuring full integration of all subsystems into a centralized monitoring and control system.
