ONE OF THE LARGEST PUBLIC STREET LIGHTING MODERNISATION PROJECTS IN CROATIA

CITY OF SISAK

003 007

One of the largest projects of street lighting modernisation in Croatia was carried out in Sisak. The entire public street lighting system has been reconstructed with more than 9,000 new smart LED lights, wirelessly interconnected and integrated into the PrecisionLeapTM SCADA central control and monitoring system that allows the user to monitor and control street lighting from a remote central location. The entire project was completed using the ESCO model, meaning that the total investment will be repaid from the realised savings on electricity and the cost of maintaining public street lighting.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The PrecisionLeapTM platform is the first Smart City solution to integrate the city’s information and telecommunications infrastructure using smart LED lighting as a communication ‘backbone’.

PrecisionLeapTM gives the user an insight into the current state of each light in the field and allows you to monitor current consumption, calculate cumulative or projected consumption and remotely control a single light or a whole group of lights in just a few clicks. You can also set the operating mode, turn the lights on and off, or remotely configure the control module inside the light. By being integrated into the platform, LED lights gain added value and become part of the living infrastructure of local units.
